It's the semi-final and the MUAs head to Carnaby Street. Their creative brief this week is to produce a look based on their favourite song.

Just four MUAs remain to battle it out for a place in the Glow Up final.

The semi-finalists receive a surprise house call from Val and Dominic, who announce that they are running this week’s professional brief. The stakes are raised even higher when they reveal that the person who performs best will claim a fast pass to the final. But they don’t have to go it alone in their hunt for the golden ticket, as Val and Dominic bring back four eliminated MUAs to work as assistants for the semi-finalists in the professional brief.

The MUAs head to Carnaby Street for an event to celebrate the history of music, fashion and make-up on the iconic street. Along with their assistant, each MUA is allocated a different decade from Carnaby Street’s colourful musical past, and they have two models who they need to be transformed before they strut their stuff in front of the public. The next day in Glow Up HQ, Val and Dominic must decide who produced the best Carnaby Street look and has earned a place in the final.

For the remaining MUAs, the pressure is on to earn their own place in the final by creating a knockout look in the Creative Brief. This week they have been challenged to create a look based on their favourite song, and the MUAs take inspiration from artists including Christina Aguilera and Eric Clapton.

Once the looks have been judged, Val and Dominic must decide which two MUAs must enter the elimination Face Off with a place in the final at stake.
