Iesha, a non-binary burns survivor, has come to the salon for a radical look to reflect their new identity.
Iesha is a 24 year old creative writer, living in Liverpool. At 13 years old, Iesha saved a cousin from a hot pan of oil and was severely scarred in the process. Apart from years of operations that destroyed their self-esteem, Iesha also had a gender conflict to deal with. Having always felt 鈥榙ifferent鈥�, Iesha recently came out as non-binary. At this new time in their life, Iesha wants a big physical transformation to mark a brand new chapter.
With Iesha鈥檚 shaved short hair and brave love of colour as a starting point, Sophia鈥檚 vision for the hair overhaul is a bold lime green. But as short hair can only look so different, Sophia鈥檚 got a second even more radical hairstyle planned.
Fashion stylist Twinks is briefed to find the perfect outfit that鈥檒l show off Iesha鈥檚 scars and fit with their new non-binary identity. Meanwhile, as Iesha never wears make-up, Paige is on hand to give a masterclass in base, highlighter and perfect eyeshadow. As the final look comes together Sophia reveals an incredible natural textured, aqua coloured wig 鈥� delivering two different looks to choose from.
Iesha arrived at a point in their life where a change was much needed and left Misfits Salon, with two incredibly strong looks that reflect a strong, new identity.
