What happens to toys when they are forgotten? The Velveteen Rabbit tells the story of what happens to a stuffed, cuddly rabbit quickly forgotten after Christmas. He is picked up again some time later and becomes a beloved friend to the boy especially through sickness. However he also longs to be real and once the boy is well, some magic helps the rabbit find a new life.
