Hunter is a legendary bodyguard, famed for fighting the great blind white alligator-king in the sewers of New York, the bear that stalked beneath the streets of Berlin, and the man-eating black tiger that lived in the undercity of Calcutta.
She has returned to London Below with hopes of slaying the Great Beast of London. When the Lady Door applies for a bodyguard to ensure her safety from the villainous intentions of Croup and Vandemar, Hunter beats the competition to secure the job and joins Door and the Marquis on their journey through London Below.
