This 11-time Italian Latin American Champion has danced since the age of six, and was winning national championships by the time he was 10.
Vito's career highlights include being a three-time World Championship finalist and European Cup Winner. In 2021 he left the competition world as one of its highest ranking athletes, most recently competing in and winning Ballando con le Stelle, the Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Now he's attempting to achieve the same success in the UK, saying: “I am really excited to become part of this family. I cannot wait to start this new adventure and to challenge myself. Strictly sto arrivando! (or: Strictly I am coming!)”
He competed for the Glitterball trophy for the first time in 2022 with singer and radio host Fleur East, making it all the way to the final and placing as runners-up. Vito didn't stop there, because in 2023 he won Strictly and lifted the Glitterball trophy with partner Ellie Leach!
Now, he's back again, bringing more fun and energy to the competition with new partner, Sarah Hadland.
