Sasha Miller returns as the boss of the Unsolved Crime and Open case Squad – heading up a team of three ex-coppers, pulled out of retirement to solve the Met’s cold cases. Previously a member of the Kidnap Unit, DCI Miller is firm, feisty and fair with an inclusive and modern management style.
Though she often gets frustrated at her team’s unorthodox methods, lack of regard for authority and constant bickering, Sasha knows their combined experence in the force is invaluable. She isn’t afraid to crack the whip but she has a lot of respect for the boys and appreciates there are things she can learn from her team too. In return they respect her tenacity but also her compassion and will look out for her on the job, as well as her personal life. The team become stronger than ever this series as they pull together to help her get over a serious incident that happens on the job.
