Delyth McLean

Delyth is a bilingual artist from Merthyr Tydfil, a town that is home to a whole new generation of exciting Welsh artists: Kizzy Crawford (Horizons 2014), Catherine Anne Davies (The Anchoress) and Pretty Vicious, amongst them.

Over the last year Delyth has been working with the Young Promoters Network development scheme, an organisation that does excellent work nurturing young talent from the South Wales Valleys. They helped her to release an excellent double A-sided single – ‘Lost In Sound’ / ‘Tad a Mab’ – that received significant airplay on Radio Wales, Radio Cymru, Amazing Radio, Nation Radio, Radio Cardiff and GTFM.

Recently Delyth has been playing with a full band, to compliment her impressive and acclaimed solo outings.

Delyth has supported the likes of Gruff Rhys, The People The Poet (Horizons 2014), Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog and Kizzy Crawford.
