Donald Morrison

Donald Morrison has been a ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Gaelic journalist for nearly 30 years, working on a variety of news and other programmes, joining the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ straight from Aberdeen University where he gained a degree in Gaelic Studies. He is one of the main presenters of ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio nan Gàidheal’s morning news programme Aithris na Maidne as well as a reporter for Radio nan Gàidheal and the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ ALBA news programme An Là. Also on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ ALBA, he hosts the chat show Thuige Seo, exploring the lives of prominent Gaels. Donald co-wrote and presented the acclaimed television series on Highland emigration Na h-Eilthirich, filming in the USA, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand. From Uig in Lewis, he is now based in the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳’s Inverness office, and lives in the Black Isle village of North Kessock, with his wife Mary and three grown-up children.
