How do I use parental guidance?

Setting up a parental guidance lock is the best way to control what younger people have access to on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Sounds website. The parental guidance lock will restrict access to programmes which display aÌýguidanceÌýwarning to ensure younger audiences can’t listen to inappropriate content.

If a programme has been flagged with guidance, it will feature a clear label and a ‘G’ symbol. Ìý

How do I set up the parental guidance lock?

To set the parental guidance lock on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Sounds website:Ìý

  1. Head to the Parental Controls page for ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ iPlayer
  2. Select 'Turn on PG lock'
  3. Enter a 4-digit PIN that you will remember
  4. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌý'´¡³¦³Ù¾±±¹²¹³Ù±ð'

The parental guidance lock is not yet available on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Sounds app.

How do I remove the parental guidance lock?

To deactivate the parental guidance lock on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ÌýSounds website:

  1. Head to theÌýParental Controls page for ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ iPlayer
  2. Select 'Turn off PG lock'
  3. EnterÌýyour 4-digit PINÌý
