Eastleigh are the latest giant-killing to story to add to the FA Cup's weighty tome of shocks.

Their win against Reading was a victory for perseverance, mettle and quality, and Paul McCallum's injury-time winner helped spark a remarkable party down on the south coast.

Chesterfield's win over League One Leyton Orient was also impressive as the National League leaders march on.

There was plenty to enjoy about our other games of course. Just as there will be for the final tie of the round tomorrow night.

AFC Wimbledon have been the minnows, the small-fry and against-all-odds success story.

Tomorrow they're the hunted. Isthmian League South side Ramsgate will be looking to stick it to their higher league opponents.

• Eastleigh scored in stoppage time through two-goal Paul McCallum to reach the FA Cup third round for the first time in eight years, as League One strugglers Reading were dumped out.
• National League side Chesterfield progressed against Leyton Orient - although there was much confusion about the goalscorer as it was awarded to several players.
• Fifth-tier Aldershot earned a replay against in-form League Two side Stockport - thanks to Josh Stokes's second-half equaliser.
• Wrexham saw off National League South side Yeovil 3-0 thanks to goals from Ollie Palmer, Andy Cannon and Sam Dalby, but the scoreline belied the effort shown by the Glovers.

It's a scoreline that flatters Wrexham massively, especially based on the second half.

But, that's why Wrexham are where they are near the top of League Two, and why Yeovil are where they are - two divisions below.

On another day, Yeovil get so much more out of their attacking play. They are dejected now, but I think the message in the dressing room will be that they have given one of the best teams in League Two a right scare in the second half.

A couple of quality moments have separated a team in League Two and a team in National League South.

Shrewsbury won’t fancy playing Wrexham. No-one will fancy playing Wrexham at the moment.

Wrexham's new fans around the world can scour their atlases to find out where 'Shrewsbury' is, but for the locals who've lived this club all their lives, they'll know full well about the FA Cup third-round derby that now lies in wait for them.

It wasn't sensational by the League Two highfliers, but they got the job done through goals from Ollie Palmer, Andy Cannon and Sam Dalby.

Yeovil, these days in National League South, put themselves in the spotlight with an excellent performance that evoked their days of bloodying noses in the Championship and League One at least.

They had chances, but weren't clinical enough.

Wrexham are almost punished for a lackadaisical attitude at the back, as Mark Howard has to quickly slam the ball down field with Yeovil's Rhys Murphy lurking.

Four added minutes.

Yeovil get into the Wrexham box but Jake Hyde's cross-shot trickles well wide of the target with numbers pushing forward.

You just sense Wrexham have done enough now.

Not sure if Yeovil are just getting a bit tired because they're losing the ball cheaply.

Jake Wannell then gets a yellow for tickling Paul Mullin's ankle with his studs, as Wrexham get the free-kick.

This game is becoming really stretched, I'm not sure this game ends 2-0.

I'm not sure who scores, but someone might.

Wrexham move through the gears with real pace and decisiveness to almost hit Yeovil with a third.

Big diagonal hits Elliot Lee, he knocks it back to James McClean, but the ball from his fierce effort deflects over off Michael Smith.

The corner almost produces a chance for Paul Mullin, but his swivelling effort is wide.

Yeovil were swarming around the Wrexham penalty but the cross just wouldn't fall.

Wrexham then broke but Jacob Mendy failed to get a notable shot away.

Another break, for Yeovil, results in a corner after Rhys Murphy is smothered by Ben Tozer.

I’m surprised - Yeovil have taken off the two players most likely to get a goal. If I’m the Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson I’m thinking, ‘Yeah, thanks very much’.

Perhaps with further commitments in mind, goalscorers Ollie Palmer and Andy Cannon make way.

Sam Dalby and Luke Young are introduced to the FA Cup party.

Yeovil break after robbing Wrexham in midfield, and it's sub Rhys Murphy who plays Frank Nouble in.

The big centre-forward piles upfield, but his shot is turned behind by Ben Tozer.

He and Jordan Young both go off, as Sonny Cox and ex-Wrexham man Jake Hyde come on.

James Jones is urged forward by the Wrexham faithful, and space seems to open up for him to drive into.

Before he can be shut down, he delivers a swinging drive which zooms just wide of Joe Day's posts.

Still capable of adding to their lead that's for sure.

A goal now for Yeovil would create a grandstand finish.

If there's one in the next five minutes it opens the door, but any later than that then you start to stretch yourself.

In terms of possession and intent, this second half has been Yeovil's domain. They've been able to stroke it around but to some extent to no avail.

George Evans makes a huge tackle to deny the dangerous Rhys Murphy as he's played in. Got it all right to avoid the penalty call.

Wrexham close to a third, as Jacob Mendy looks up from 20 yards out and hits one toward goal but it was always dragging just wide.

He had too much time there.
