Connecting with others is the first way to wellbeing. It is all about communicating with the people in your lives and understanding each other in a meaningful way.

The Children's Society say that young people who talk often to their family and friends about things that matter to them score higher on the wellbeing scale.

Take notice

There are two ways to take notice; you can take notice of the things around you and take notice of what is inside of you.

The Children's Society found that children who notice and enjoy their surroundings experience a higher level of wellbeing.

Use your five senses to help you enjoy the things around and live in the here and now. Take some time to yourself to reflect on how you think and feel in the day to help take notice of yourself too.
