Vincent Hanna reports from Denver, Colorado, about a group of female tennis players, including Billie Jean King, Julie Heldman and Nancy Richey, who have rebelled against the United States Lawn Tennis Association and formed their own breakaway tennis tour.

The tour is a co-operative venture, owned, directed and organised by the players. Its aim is to improve conditions and prize-money and prove once and for all that women's tennis is both a compelling spectacle and a viable financial proposition in its own right.
