M2: Algebra
Module 2 (M2) - Algebra - Equations
An equation is a statement with an = sign. It tells us that the expression on the left-hand side of the = sign is equal to the expression on the right-hand side.
Module 2 (M2) - Algebra - Expand and simplify
Algebraic expressions can be expanded - multiplied by one or more terms. They may also be simplified - made shorter and simpler by collecting like terms.
Module 2 (M2) - Algebra - Factorising
In Algebra, factorising is the opposite of expanding.
Module 2 (M2) – Algebra - Coordinates and graphs
A straight line can be drawn by joining two points plotted on a grid. Coordinates of the mid-point of the line and the length of the line can be calculated using coordinate values.
Module 2 (M2) – Algebra - Graphs in real life
Graphs are often used in everyday life to give information about how two quantities are related.
