1Xtra Live is back bringing the best urban dance music and the biggest UK and international artists of the moment to Leeds. Hosted by 1Xtra DJs, the event now in its eighth year follows on from the success of 2014 which saw the likes of Rick Ross, Mary J Blige and Tinashe hitting Birmingham.

Watch live performances on Saturday, 17 October between 7pm and 11pm and then catch highlights throughout the week. Kid Ink, Krept & Konan, Lethal Bizzle, Miguel, Flo Rida, Natalie La Rose, Stormzy, Fekky and Tinie Tempah all feature on the bill.

The Arts Show

This film, first broadcast in 2001, tells the story of Brian Friel, an exceptional playwright who began his career as a short story writer.  His work includes classics such as Philadelphia, Here I Come!, Translations and Dancing at Lughnasa,  confirming him as a major dramatist of the Twentieth Century.
