So now we know what his Dad looks like, we only saw his back in the trail last week, a question will we see Matt in the office or near them before he manages to get the others to help him again?

I think we'll probably be meeting Matt's parents soon and may discover that it wasn't actually a very happy family. I have the horrible feeling that Matt's killer may be far closer to him than he wants to remember.

Someone else mentioned this in another blog, but why hasn't Gary Frinton been looked at. There's a Councillor Gary Frinton that forces Matt's Mum to stop posting Missng signs.. and then in Matt's own profile, he talks about a Gary Frinton (junior to Dad, I presume?) kicking him about, whilst calling him names etc.

Instead they went after Danny because he was, at the time, the obvious bully.

Is there a Frinton family cover up going on here?

Hmm someone said in a previous blog that the parents may be involved with the murder and the missing posters and appearing in the papers is just a cover up

Then someone else said about that theory that if you killed someone you wouldn't want to appear in the papers to attract attention to yourself

BUT dont you think that it would be strange to see if the parents didn't make a fuss about it and make it look like they cared because if they didn't say anything it would probably draw more attention to them as the killers?

I can totally see a cover-up there. Maybe Gary Frinton Jr was one of the lower teir bullies and wanted to elevate his position by doing the 'ultimate prank' on 'egg-man' or whatever and it went wrong somehow. He called his dad, Gary Frinton Sn, for advice who decided to cover it up and that would tie in with why GFS was trying to stop Matt's mother from putting up the missing posters.

I'd also like to bring up something that someone mentioned in the video where Christa is signing Danny up for the clubs. (I'm sorry I can't remember who it was) You said about the static and jumpiness of the videos. I think that this might be because Matt is near when they're filming.

Anyways, that's all I've got to say in my first post.

You are right in the fact that as a parent you would have to show concern. Even if your child is a bullied outcast who nobody would miss if they went missing, people would think it was strange if you didn't kick up a fuss.

Besides, in the 'ASBO' post Matt's mum is quoted as saying that Matt 'Was a happy boy' (or something to that affect) so either she wasn't aware of the bullying (which could be plausible because bully victims don't let their parents know if they can help it [I know I didn't]) or Matt's death was a result of her or Matt's dad and she's covering up.

Actually it's weird for the paper to point out that Matt was unpopular because(I don't know about you) but nearly every teen runaway/death story that appears in the papers are always popular and or happy kids. It's rare in RL for a paper to claim that the school kid was an outcast unless they go on a shooting spree.

It's another piece of evidence to support the theory that Gary Frinton Snr is covering up for his son. Although I'm not embracing that particular theory yet...

I said the exact same thing in the comments on another of the blogs! I think somehow the two of them are involved. I mean it's so suspicious that Frinton (Sr?) would want to take down all the posters. Surely it would be better for his reputation to want to help find a missing child? Even one no-one really seems to notice much. It just makes me think something is being covered up. :/

Perhaps the over concern is not a cover up, but due to guilt maybe Matt did rub away after having an argument with his parents. I can't see him being particulary nice to his parents. I think matt's murder was his fault, not an accident but something he did to someone resulted in his death.

I think this frinton fella does have something to do with it as the posts above has said.

My theory, and it's a long shot so bare with me, my theory is that he it has something to do with the blonde girl Adam calls foxy in episode one. I think Matt had a crush on her ( we see him spying on her in the changing room in the trailer) and that, and an outburst from Matt concerning these feelings towards her ultimately led to his death

what im really interested to find out, is what was in the rest of the article, because it would give us a few more details than what we can garner from these small blog entries, and where the picture was taken, im not sure about why i want to know where the picture is taken, and what significance it has, but i think it might help to solve it

also the dad just seems to look fed up, so i would keep an eye on him as it were XD

Still think he killed himself and lied about the last place he remembered. But my other option is Christa did something to him during a full moon. Why would he simply start following her around school? Just thoughts.

Oh, and I don't really feel sorry for him. Not after the revenge thing.

I don't think it's the parents Christa or Adam for one simple reason - They would have kept the article. For any hints or names or just in his parents case to confirm to themselves that people still cared that they were being heard.

Matt maybe might keep it for a picture of his Parents but then why not just go home for that unless the whole Annie pink house mental wall is keeping him in the school for now.

So the question is who else might want just a picture of Matt's parents?

Councillor Frinton? Might get his own picture.
Frinton Jr? again a photo from his Dad.

Who else might be concerned with who Matt's Parents are or at least look like? At the same time might not be interested unless a body or investigation begins.

why does evryone suspect christa. remember in the article it said that he failed to return home and his mum had layed out his tea for him. what school child comes home from school and has his tea at midnight? plus i rember it mentioning a time when she called the police and it was ssomthing between 4 and 5 i think

Not everyone. in fact most people have dismissed Christa save for some hold outs.

most for reasons of clean up (my reason of choice) we saw what happened to Darwin's champion when he faced McNair not so easy to clean up. and other reasons. Plus the fact she didn't know he was dead until Adam told her.

The time line thought that is a new Christa is innocent argument though well caught.

lol 17 (ewan). i always knew that christa was inoccent and i knew other people thought as well, i only put that comments because of what i've seen on various others.


-btw has anyone noticed that in the first ep when they were in the toilets it seemed like matt had remembered somthing but didn't tell adam and christa. i think he did that because he enjoys hanging out with them. i remember some other people mentioning that he might not be revealing all as well

I did remark on what the possible graffiti might be but remembering that's a new idea. The fact instead of how Annie remembered everything in one go after the trigger event. Matt might go through stages of remembering.

This Sunday things are suggested in the trail How many will come true and how much is wishful thinking?

- decision to look for a body but will we find the body or just make plans for later this week in blog posts or next week's episode?
- Christa's scars but will there be a back story or even a full moon change? the time line is supposed to be close to that of being human after all.
- Matt's Parents but will they be seen or will it only be from a distance as they leave the school?

Will there be something more to see that we can't guess about?

my theory is that gary frinton killed matt and his father because he is a councillor and probably respected in the community thought he would lose the community's respect if they knew his son had killed someone. so he helped his son move the body and cover up the murder. then gave matts mum an asbo because if she got people to search for matt they might find his body and link the murder to the frintons. also i think gary frinton is in from 12B

Strange. If a child has been missing this long one would have expected the police to be interested and making enquiries. I beleive usually there is a police person attached to a school so one would have hought that person would be asking questions.

The school truancy unit should also have become concerned so it is odd that the parents seem to be on their own in this. Is somebody in authority warning people off the case?

Ok, this may be odd, but if the last thing he can remember is the toilet, maybe someone dunked his head down the toilet and it went wrong. He could have been under too long and drowned. Presuming it would be a popular bully, he could have easily got his 'minions' to move the body. So maybe Danny was involved, but not directy the killer.

Danny ,He's a school bully he wants kids to respect/fear him and he's got that ,there is no reason for him to commit murder.
Parents .from what we know of them so far there is nothing to suggest they would do such a thing.
So we have am overweight lonley teen boy ,who was more concerned about getting back at Danny than finding out what happened to him,So at this stage I think it's suicide,I think he wanted people to find his body and to make everyone to feel guilty ,but something went wrong and his body has been lost,(in a refuge lorry) or something and he can't leave until the truth has come out

Maybe Matt was on the verge of taking charge of his life and doing something to change his ways? perhaps he tried to do something that would give him a reputation and it backfired? It would explain his reticence to find his killer because he'd just decided he wanted to live and was prepared to fight for it when he winds up dead.
