There is more hesitation in this than we're used to with Christa is this due to worry or just hating to have to call Adam?

So Christa has a theory a rather sound one if there is a killer whose to say their not serial? After all the school waiting for a kid alone that could denote stalking. The choice of Matt could be less personal and more opportunistic. Thoughts to think about.

What if Christa hasn't been shown the ways of a werewolf yet (aka chicken on a string) and hasn't found a fully safe place to transform? Maaaybe, Matt happened to be in the same place as her one full moon (perhaps hiding from the bullies?), saw what was happening (how he knows about Christa's scars), stayed to watch in sick fascination, was spotted by the werewolf and killed. That could also explain why he followed her around before Adam arrived?

15 - The change in Christa would have happened more than a month ago - really watch the 30 second preview on the BH blog. Matt knows that the scars on her wrist aren't the only ones, now that level of attack from a werewolf would take a while to heal not just a go back to school the next day. So I'm thinking at least a month to heal. look at how long George was in the hospital he was wearing a gown when he first transformed.

Christa has effectively been mawed.

Looking at that one clip again and again I am drawn to one conclusion.

When Christa says 'What' there is the sense of outrage yes but also fear. I don't think she was expecting anyone else to know about her deepest secret. For her it's a truly terrifying realisation. That others know, with Adam she can pretend he's wrong and lie Matt's admission to knowing of the other scars. That she can't pretend for ever.

Still the air will still turn a mid level (after all limitations on language) of blue will still happen.

The thing everyone seems to be focussed on is that Matt was killed in the toilets...Maybe he wasn't. The last thing he (supposedly) REMEMBERS is being leant over the toilet, he doesn't (according to him) remember being killed. There may well have been an interval of time between him leaving the toilets, perhaps even the school, and being killed that he doesn't recall. The only thing we know for sure is that he didn't get home.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but i think the Mr Swan could be the killer, he definitely seems to hate the students and he would probably have been in the school at the time of Matt's death and also, as a teacher, he would have access to most parts off the school (perhaps a handy PE equipment cupboard in which to stash a body)

29- I don't think it's a bad theory. My one problem would be why would he choose Matt? Not exactly a trouble maker. Hardly one of the kids who talks back in class. I think the sole job of that character is to keep putting Christa and Adam in detention.

First-time poster here!

I was just wondering why it is that vampires can recognise werewolves but werewolves can't recognise their own.

example: In ep 1 of becoming human, adam instantly realises that Christa is a werewolf just by looking at her but in the preview for ep 4 beinghuman, nina andgeorge can't seem to tell that McNair is a werewolf and in ep 1 BH when george sees tom or whatever his name is, the only reason he thinks he is a werewolf is becaue he is carrying a chicken on a string.


Surely you'd expect that werevolves would be able to reconise their own with their super sense of smell that we see george has in ep3 BH when he can smell Sasha quote: "even without the wolf sense of smell" i think the line is.

So, any thoughts?

Werewolves can smell each other Tully meeting George who is a good distance away at the time it's that they could try not to ignore their senses in George and Nina's case as to gain some sense of normalcy in their lives, after all how could they know that Toms in the van unless they had tracked him to that spot?

12 - It was at least 4 weeks since Matts death/disappearance, and depending on what day he was killed (Friday) this would have given the killer time to clean up and dispose of the body, a whole weekend if the school wasn't in use.

27 - I agree. It took Annie a long time to actually recall all the details of how she died, especially that she was in fact murdered.

As a ghost Matt wouldn't necessarily show signs of the trauma his body had suffered. Sasha (Type 4) showed the marks because she was still using her dead and decomposing body, once she left the body behind and was in 'ghost' form she didn't show any scars/signs.

While Christa may be a werewolf now, that isn't to say she was at the time Matt disappeared. She could be the victim that got away. Matt could have been following her for longer, unnoticed as he would have been a bit more careful about it, and was killed when he inadvertantly got in the way. If she was running she might not have seen Matt being attacked and killed. If it did happen around the same time then Christa won't yet have transformed. Her denials may be a legitimate at the moment, from her point of view, if she hasn't transformed yet. In EP2 she said
"Who was that, anyway? The stuff he said, it鈥檚 like he knew. But that鈥檚 impossible. Then again, the whole 鈥渨hat鈥檚 possible and what鈥檚 impossible鈥� thing is under review right now. It鈥檚 a bad dream, that鈥檚 all. Any minute now, I鈥檒l wake up and there won鈥檛 be any scars and I鈥檒l be into boys and ponies and bullshit again. And, as if I didn鈥檛 have enough to deal with, I鈥檓 now being stalked by a bouncy castle."
This could just be a reference to the attack on her and not a realization of what she has become?

Even though George was in hospital for a while Nina wasn't in hospital at all. so if the scars are on her arm or aren't to serious she could have ran away or been scratched by someone she knows eg relative or boyfriend.
I think she has been a werewolf for a while because of the way she talks about it, she is sort of in the state George was in in series 1

Yes, they would be able to be heard through the phone, the whole 'not being seen through a camera' thing, is based on the fact that they have no reflection, but telephones use vibrations, not reflections.
