   of course this means that rihanna will be entering chart history ...and everyone is very happy about that...right...um...at least in theory...
   what this song proves is the fact that simple,catchy sell-able music ,not necessarily good music has taken over the charts and implicitly over people's cd collections.
   i'm not saying that we should ban this sort of music or pretend that it does not exist...no...it;s fun to hear..i agree with that...but i think it's a bit of a shame that 10 years from now we will say" rihanna who?".." what umbrella?''...yet this success will be present in the history books...
   oh well...at least she'll get incredibly rich during the process ...and will lead the way for other songs made with two instruments to be sold in millions of copies...oh goodie...i feel better already:(

   You don't really need ANY instruments - just a singer - though I can't think of any chart-topping unaccompanied songs...but, well...there's still time!
