Hundreds turned out to see Diana, Princess of Wales open the Riddings Park Community Centre in Alfreton in 1992.

On a gloriously sunny day, Diana toured the premises before going on a walkabout and chatting with some of the onlookers. Brian Schofield was one of the people there and he took these pictures.
