Section D learns that Algerian extremist Abdul Kharami is putting together a terrorist attack on London. The CIA's Bob Hogan is worried that Kharami will target American businesses in London, as he has before. Harry's team must work closely with Hogan's on thwarting the attack.

Under the assumption that the Iranians are involved with Kharami's terror plot, Adam asks his source, Ana, to spy on her husband, Iranian Special Consul Dariush Bakhshi. If Kharami is working with the Iranians, Bakhshi would know. But whilst snooping, Ana gets caught by an aide and she kills him in the ensuing struggle. Although Adam helps her cover her tracks, Bakhshi discovers that his wife's a mole for MI5.

With no intelligence on the target of the attack, Hogan and Harry begin to suspect that their source may not be telling everything he knows. Tailing him, Jo's caught by one of Kharami's men and is thrown in the boot with the very bomb Kharami is on his way to plant.

Ros meets up with her Yalta contact, Magritte, who explains that Bakhshi is not the culprit but the target, and he's already heading towards his fate.

Adam rescues the Iranian Special Consul and Jo just in time before the bomb explodes.
