Cheers, stupid! (Romanian/German)

German tourists in Romania can easily offend someone just by saying Prost, cheers, when they drink a glass of champagne. In Romanian prost means 'stupid'.

It sounds almost the same as a form of Russian adjective "prostoy" meaning "simple"

Same goes for Bulgarian. The word prost means stupid, but also has a second meaning of 'simple'.
