When the Methodists arrived in Guernsey they were a barely known religious sect. Years later the island boasted 32 chapels.
Now few are still used for worship. Many have followed in the footsteps of spiritual buildings across the UK, and been given a new lease of life in a variety of unusual, and some would say sacrilegious, purposes.
