The abstract design reflects the themes of
ice, skate blades and the way skaters and sports stars turn on the
ice and has already won the approval of the National Ice Centre
Trust.
The 19 metre high sculpture has been commissioned
by Nottingham City Council with 拢80,000 funding from the Arts
Council England regional arts lottery programme.
