Alexander O'Neal and Fiona Bruce
Mississippi-born Alexander O'Neal was one of the most successful
R&B/soul singers during the mid-Eighties to Nineties.
听
Alexander has had five top
20 singles in the UK and his second album Hearsay sold one million
copies in the UK alone.
Over the years he has sold over 11 million
albums with his Greatest Hits album - a UK top 20 success in 2004.
听
Last year
he released a live album from the Hammersmith Apollo and his live
tours continue to sell out.
听
His raunchy in-bed antics during
his Eighties concerts were said to be the inspiration for Madonna's
Blonde Ambition tour some years later.
听
Alexander is ambitious and is driven and he wants to win.
听
"Of
all the things that I've accomplished, my greatest day is yet to come.
But it will never come if I don't pursue it," he states.
听
Certainly putting his marker down
but can Fiona rise to the challenge?
听
Fiona Bruce is one of the 成人论坛's most experienced and high
profile news presenters.
听
She is currently one of the main presenters
of the Ten O'Clock News and
is also co-presenter of Crimewatch UK with Nick Ross.
听
She also presents
the 成人论坛 ONE weekly
current affairs programme Real
Story With Fiona Bruce, and in 2005 hosted a new
series of Call
My Bluff.
听
Fiona is no stranger to singing, having been in a number of
bands during her studies at Oxford University. She admits: "When I was at university,
I sang in rock bands and dyed my hair blue."
听
She has varied musical tastes
and currently likes Kaiser Chiefs,
Greenday and Embrace but isn't a fan of country and western.
听
She also
hates rap and garage and says: "I
can't get my head around these
styles at all: they're not my thing."
听
Fiona is hoping the experience of Just the Two of Us will
be fun but admits she is scared at the thought of singing
live on TV: "I
am so terrified that I just
cannot think about it!"
