What's the possibility of Russia invading Latvia?
Following Russia's annexation of Crimea and its incursion into parts of eastern Ukraine, the panellists on World Questions consider whether a Russian invasion of Latvia might ever be on the cards. A member of the European Union, Latvia also has a border with Russia. You will hear, in order, Oj膩rs 膾riks Kalni艈拧, chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee in parliament; Baiba Rubesa, chair of the new Rail Baltica project; the mayor of Riga, Nils U拧akovs; and Magnus Christiansson, a Swedish security strategist specialising in NATO and the Baltic states.
