Donna Ockenden: ‘I’d go back to my hotel room, sit on my bed and cry’
Donna Ockenden, the author of the review into maternity failings at Shropshire hospitals, spoke to Emma Barnett on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour about the emotional impact investigating the scandal had on her.

Ms Ockenden also discussed her report’s action points to ensure women’s safety, whether NHS watchdogs are fit for purpose, and if anything like this could happen again in the future.
