Abi Morgan: 'He said: 'That's not my wife''
The Bafta-winning screenwriter Abi Morgan is best known for telling other people’s stories - including The Iron Lady, Suffragette and The Split. But her new book focuses on her own life.
When her partner woke up after being in a coma for nearly six months, he did not recognise her. He had Capgras delusion, which is a belief someone close to you has been replaced with an imposter.
She spoke to Emma Barnett about the year she spent trying to convince him she was his partner, which is the focus of her new book This is Not a Pity Memoir.
