In May 2005, the 成人论坛 Governors held a seminar entitled Taking Belief Seriously to discuss the 成人论坛's religious coverage and programmes.

成人论坛 management, the Central Religious Advisory Council, external speakers and invited guests discussed key themes including the importance of belief to 成人论坛 audiences; and the role of other genres - including News, Drama and Comedy - in exploring issues of belief.

Two reports on the 成人论坛's religious programming were circulated to attendees. They examined the impartiality of 成人论坛 religious output and the performance of the 成人论坛's religious strategy for television.

A summary of the issues discussed at the seminar can be found below. This seminar and the reports are part of an ongoing programme in which 成人论坛 Governors examine key areas of 成人论坛 output on behalf of viewers and listeners.
