Kent is the youngest brother of King George VI, and Sir Hallam鈥檚 closest friend.

Closely connected to the corridors of power, he often acts as a discreet sounding board and advisor to Sir Hallam but, a devoted patriot, he is avowedly pro-peace and therefore an appeaser, which means that their views diverge as Britain begins a countdown to war.
