Born in Retford,
Derek played all his career with Nottinghamshire County Cricket club.
He made his debut in 1972 in a game against Essex played at Newark.
In late 1976 his England career started in India. A few weeks later
he scored a 174 in the Centenary test in Australia against the likes
of Lillee and Thomson. He was nicknamed "Rags" because he
was always borrowing other people's clothes or putting on the wrong
top. He still plays cricket in the Suffolk and Derbyshire league.

Graham

Graham, an Arnold
lad, began writing poetry and songs at 11 years old. At fourteen,
he was playing in a group called the Nottingham Odd Fellows, playing
blues, Cream and Jon Mayall but he really wanted to create his own
sound. Graham met Russell Hitchcock while performing in a Sydney,
Australia production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1976. They formed
soft-rock group "Air Supply" and became a favourite of 1980s
soft-rock fans. They have several gold and platinum discs to their
credit and are still touring & recording. Graham still
visits Nottingham on an annual basis.

'Lost
In Love' (1980) contained 3 top five singles in US charts - 'Lost
In Love', 'Every Woman In The World' and 'All Out Of Love'. 'The One
That You Love' album reached No.2 on the US album charts - 'The One
That You Love', 'Here I am' and 'Sweet Dreams'.
