Brett and Aimee met at a nightclub, and after much persuasion from Brett (it took a year) they started dating. It took Brett five years to propose to Aimee – simply because he wanted to be sure he could provide stability before starting a family. They have been happily married for nearly two years now and live in Mansfield with their beloved dog Max. Aimee says Brett is easy-going and helpful but admits he can often tell inappropriate jokes at the wrong time and often puts his foot in it.

It was very important for Brett to make sure the timing was right before they began a family. They are both very excited about the pregnancy, but Aimee often worries if everything will be ok, meaning Brett has lots of re-assuring to do.

Brett has had a dramatic life-style change in recent years. He used liked socialising and partying and admits he was a bit of a slob. However, he kept fit regularly as a kick-boxing instructor but as with all Brett’s hobbies it didn’t last. Brett has a ‘man room’ equipped with gadgets and entertainment as he likes to consume himself in new hobbies, from golf to amateur mechanics, DJ-ing to playing guitar.

Aimee has always wanted a child but was nervous when she found out she was pregnant. Regular scans make her feel more relaxed and she relies on Brett to keep her re-assured the baby will be ok. Aimee does all the reading and research and was a friend's birthing partner so she feels confident in knowing what to expect with birth.
