Adam and Lucy met nine-years-ago when Lucy was living in Spain with her family. It was their families who played cupid and got the pair together. Adam says he knew there was a future from the first moment they met. They got married in 2010 and had a fairy tale wedding which they both say was the best day of their life.

Adam is a big Spurs FC fan and has been working for The National Grid checking for gas leaks over the last 6-7 years. He is prone to wearing his heart on his sleeve and will always let people know what he thinks.

The couple both describe Adam as a bit of a stress-head. His ability to get overly stressed is a big worry in the run up to the birth of their first baby. They are hoping the midwife sessions will help Adam stay calm so that he can support Lucy during the birth.

Despite concerns over his stress levels, Adam has a big heart and is soppy – he cries when watching ‘Finding Nemo’ so is sure he will be crying when the baby arrives.

It is well known among his family and friends that Adam is incredibly forgetful – he often leaves behind his van keys, forgets about bread in the toaster etc. So much so, Lucy worries he’ll forget the baby and leave it on top of the car!

Adam has regular snooker nights and hopes to still be able to manage some fun with the boys after the baby arrives.

Lucy works as a Beauty Therapist and is very close to her family. She describes Adam as ‘funny without trying to be funny'. She is used to his short fuse and says if you know him, he is not rude he just expects certain standards’. As he is very protective of her and the baby, she hopes Adam ‘won’t have an argument with the doctor’.
