Don and Georgia have known each other for ten years and been romantically involved for six. They always fancied each other but nothing happened because they both mistakenly believed that they wouldn’t be attracted to each other because they were from different cultures. They share many interests, in particular a love of Japan, both having lived there for a year when Don taught English.

Don and Georgia had been planning for a baby but they never expected to get pregnant after just one month. She woke up one morning with a Vietnamese meatloaf craving, which was unusual, and decided something was up so she took a pregnancy test. She was ecstatic when it was positive.

As a technology geek Don spends hours playing computer games and he survives on very little sleep. If he wants to learn how to do something new he will sit up all night reading Wikipedia. He re-wallpapered his living room overnight after watching two YouTube videos. Don used to work in a comic store in central London and has a massive collection which he stores in his ‘man room’ alongside all his techie toys.

Don is renowned for being clumsy and forgetful but in spite of this he wants to be a hands-on Dad in the delivery room and if all goes to plan he would like to help the midwife deliver the baby. Don is Vietnamese and plans on talking Vietnamese to the baby as soon as she comes into the world.

They are having a little girl and he is very protective over his little girl already and is so worried about hitting Georgia’s belly in his sleep he has created a barrier down the middle of the bed. Don has even started having sympathy pains. Being from Vietnam, Don has certain traditions that they like to adhere to. They believe that while the lady is carrying the baby she is not allowed to lift, twist or reach.

Georgia loves cooking and prepares all of Don’s meals as he can’t cook. She is energetic and a proud home-maker, loves cooking food, sewing and creating a warm environment for them to live in.
