Your reviews and comments for Spooks 4 Episode 8:

"I always knew that Rupert Penry-Jones was a good actor but this episode took the biscuit. Please ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳, give him something else to do because he's just fantastic. I loved this episode - little bit of old-world communism combined with new-world technology and ideas. Yay for the writers and director! I've just realised that this series is coming to an end so I might just run out and buy the third series on DVD and watch it tonight. Thank you, thank you, thank you ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳."

Sarah, Belfast

"Well, what can you say about perfection? It was brilliant - action packed, great storylines and suspension mounting every second of the episode. Outstanding ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳, I take my hat off to you."

Kavi Kumra, Iver

"The programme was exciting. Unfortunately I am deeply hurt as a , that the most well-known song, which was an icon for the former , was sung in Hungarian. We suffered for 40 years under the communist regime. I cannot believe that you did not have anyone to advise you regarding the language.

My grandfather was sent to Siberia because of his beliefs. It looks as if the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ doesn’t care about the big differences within the former communist countries. It is a major disappointment for me and I think there should be an apology. We are not the same. Eastern Europe is not one country and has more than one language.

It was only a TV programme, but I found it very disturbing as we fought so hard against the Soviets who finally left in 1990."

Katalin Thomosn, Farnborough

"The team should have more faith in Adam. He really knows his stuff and he has the determination to pull through. Poor Wez is going to find it hard without his mum, but his grandparents and Adam will take good care of him. I also think that Jo should accept Zaf's offer of a room in his flat. She is already suffering and needs comforting."

Debbie, Rotherham

"Is it just me, or does someone need to tell Jo to take out those earrings before they poke one of her colleagues or rip her ear apart?

I think this episode showed Adam's reactions to his wife's death in the right way. He wasn't sobbing continually but holding it inside until he realised that she had gone forever, and Harry's words triggered this thought. A heartfelt episode of Spooks but one with much needed compassion after Fiona's death."

Pamitta, West Midlands

"What happened? Did the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ sack the scriptwriters for this episode? Did they employ a different crew to film it? All the sharp, innovative and clever camera work disappeared, and the script was dull. I found myself switching over to different channels whilst long periods of boring dialogue were read out. An otherwise brilliant series has been marred by a boring and dull episode."

Dom, London

"An interesting what-if episode. Although this storyline took a backseat to the main story, of how Adam dealt with his grief over the death of Fiona. However, thanks to a brilliant George Baker playing Hugo Ross with relish, both plots were very entertaining. The ‘estate agent’ code was very clever although I didn’t fully understand that until Harry explained it later - I’m obviously not MI5 material! I enjoyed the flow of arguments between Zaf, Harry and Hugo. I thought for once we might have a happy ending for a change. But no - the drug that they injected Hugo Ross with was quite revolting.

It was a very pressurised storyline, with even Malcolm ‘Leonardo of the Dustbins’ Wynne-Jones under the cosh from Harry. I think that’s the first time I've seen Malcolm lose his cool!"

Adrian, York

"There was a rather startling divergence from reality when a cell phone call was made, despite the Faraday cage. There is no way that call could have succeeded. A highway overpass is enough to disrupt a call. In any case I enjoyed the return of Tiberius (George Baker's character in *) after all these years."

Steve Bryan, UK

"This episode was simply amazing, the ending was absolutely perfect. I just wish that Zaf's role was made more equal with Adam. I'd like to see him involved in more action than just driving the car for Adam or following a suspect. I don't like Jo's character. I feel that she was unfairly given the job. Other applicants had a higher IQ, could speak more languages, and probably would have been more mentally prepared."

Millee, UK

"Not my favourite episode. I understand that you have to have an episode showing how Adam deals with the grief, and most of the episode was good in that respect. But how dopey did Jo seem? I really hope she improves, but at the moment she is a very poor replacement for Fiona."

Su, Crowborough

"I'm consistently amazed at this show. I don't believe for one second that it happens like this in real life, but you can't deny that the entire series has been freakishly contemporary. Just check out the front page of the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ news after any episode to read the real life version!"
